Radical religious reich CRACKPOT Lou ‘Shakey’ Engle, who bore false witness about not advocating on behalf of the heinous ‘exterminate-the-gays’ genocide bill that is being considered in Uganda, is calling for “acts of martyrdom” in his war against gay people, women, non-believers, and goblins, demons and other made-up shit. If ever anyone deserved to have their incessant and futile god-bothering answered, please let it be Engle.

Engle, who has been calling for young Christians to take up the cause and become martyrs for their faith in their stand against “immoral” secularism, healthcare for all US citizens and abortion, is particularly exercised over homosexuality (now there’s a surprise) and now we learn that he is exporting his vicious brand of homophobia to a country already in the grip of anti-gay fervour – Uganda.

Before arriving here last week, Mr. Engle came out with a statement condemning the harsh penalties proposed in the bill, and said that his ministry could not support it. But when he took the stage late on Sunday afternoon, with Ugandan politicians and pastors looking on, he praised the country’s “courage” and “righteousness” in promoting the bill.
“NGOs, the U.N., Unicef, they are all coming in here and promoting an agenda,” Mr. Engle said, referring to nongovernmental organizations. “Today, America is losing its religious freedom. We are trying to restrain an agenda that is sweeping through the education system. Uganda has become ground zero.
