That whole mythos of John McCain being an “honorable man” kinda croaked the day he sat down with the Reverend Jerry Falwell and sold his soul to the religious reich for a handful of votes. Unlike the Daily Show’s John Oliver, we can forgive Senator John McCain for smelling faintly of green Jell-O and urine, but we Americans must never forgive this tool for placing Sarah Palin on the national stage. On the other hand, to be perfectly fair and balanced, Palin’s insipidity is a delight for lefites capable of conjoining verbs and nouns.
