Notice that it’s all MEN holding the antigay signs! LOL
You can’t be all that straight if you waste your life worrying about the bedroom going-ons of gay men.
And what you don’t see is the horse manure piling up in front of the bad Christians. This year, the City of San Diego Police Department stationed a mounted posse directly in front of those loons. When I walked back by them 90 minutes later, I had to cross the street to avoid the stench.
What I appreciated is that they were shouting directly at horses’ asses. And the horses and cops were unflappable. (I have been really impressed with SDPD at all the protests.)
On the way to the parade’s start, I heard them shouting that God is about hate. My wife and I marched with St Paul’s Cathedral, one of the biggest groups in the parade (and I bet the biggest church) and as we passed those sorry haters, we all (100+) held up OUR signs, which said “love to each of you”.
Much better choice, don’t you think?
As I was taking the pic, they were telling us GLBT folk we’d all end up having sex with gerbils, because our love for each other wasn’t enough.
I always try an get pix of the St Paul’s group to share with my buddy Andy in England. This Pride, I just went to watch and have fun, so I probably won’t have a photo essay this time. I had a blast!
