Hillcrest Town Council Meeting Tonight
Y’all come to Tuesday’s gathering of Hillcrest residents & friends at Joyce Beers Community Center in the Uptown District (between Aladdin and Terra restaurants) from 6:30-8pm this evening.
There is a full agenda for tonight’s meeting. Did I mention the food provided by Babbo Grande?
And, here’s an opportunity to pitch in après Pride and help the Hillcrest community:
Please mark your calendars for Monday, July 20 — beginning at 7am to join the After Pride Clean-up and help put the shine back on Hillcrest after next weekend’s festivites. Meet on Park Boulevard south of University Avenue. Pride will donate $10 per volunteer hour to the HTC. Call in late to work (if your lucky enough to still have a job) and pitch in as long as you can. Volunteers will swept trash from the gay pride parade route and the surrounding area and clean up the neighborhood after Pride weekend.
