On Tuesday morning (23 June), the San Diego City Council will vote on a resolution calling for the repeal of the costly, divisive and discriminatory Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy. The resolution was unanimously endorsed by the City’s Rules, Open Government and Intergovernmental Relations Committee and has the solid support of several San Diego City Councilmembers, including District 3’s Todd Gloria.

It’s a work day, but it would be absolutely fabulous if those of you who think throwing trained jet pilots and Arabic translators out of the armed forces simply for being gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender is wasteful and wrong-minded filled the room to capacity.
