Ed Brayton has honored televangelist Pat Robertson with his Dumbass Quote of the Day award for this nonsense from Reverend Pat in response to the US Department of Homeland Security’s assertion that, following the election of Barack Obama, “rightwing extremists … may be gaining new recruits:”
It shows somebody down in the bowels of that organization is either a convinced left winger or somebody whose sexual orientation is somewhat in question. But it’s that kind of thing, somebody who doesn’t think that we should have abortion on demand, is labeled a terrorist! It’s outrageous.

That’s extra rich (with whipped cream, nuts and a cherry) coming from someone whose sanity is “somewhat in question.”
