San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom on separate-but-equal for the gays
(Video: FORA.tv, via YouTube)
Last 11 March, San Francisco’s mayor, Gavin Newsom, gave a talk at the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco. The clip above is an excerpt, in which the mayor questions the validity of separate-but-equal thinking — as applied to marriage equality. Love him or hate him, he’s right and consistent on this issue.
